A one-time rapper convicted of shooting and killing a female police officer during a failed bank heist in Philadelphia nearly 20 years ago will be executed in January. Christopher Roney – aka Cool C - was convicted of first-degree murder for the shooting death of Lauretha Vaird on January 2, 1996.
