A transgender person who had a £10,000 sex change to become a woman, but now wants to become a man again, has criticised the NHS for not doing enough to make sure he wanted the initial surgery. Matthew Attonley, 30, was born a boy and seven years ago started surgery to become a woman called Chelsea, but in the last six months he has taken steps to return to being a man called Matthew.
