The shocking incident happened at a hospital in Shenzhen, China, where the woman – believed to be mentally ill – had been discovered heavily pregnant and in labour on the street. The woman had been taken inside the hospital, where she gave birth to a boy, before being placed in a ward with her baby while staff attempted to contact her family.
